Anna returns home after spending time in the hospital following the death of her mother. Her recovery suffers a setback when her father is engaged to another woman and then Anna is visited by her mother's ghost. When Anna tries to convince her father that his new fiancée is not what she seems, what should have been a family reunion becomes a lethal battle of wills between stepdaughter and stepmother.
