Larry, a bumbling small town sheriff, witnesses what he believes is a kidnapping and rushes to rescue the woman. The kidnappers are actually FBI agents assigned to protect her but Larry rightly assumes that they are corrupt. He forces the woman into a harebrained trip to Chicago to solve the case in which she is involved in this silly crime caper.
