An abused and ridiculed water carrier (Adam Sandler) attacks a football player in a moment of rage and discovers his amazing tackling talent. After securing a position on the college team, when going for a tackle, the waterboy imagines people who have done him wrong in the past and becomes a valuable player on the field.
