A scientist unknowingly transports a deadly South American spider to a small, unsuspecting California town. It is up to arachnophobe Dr. Ross Jennings (Jeff Daniels) and quirky exterminator Delbert McClintock (John Goodman) to save the town before these creepy crawlers take over.
